For all those shoe lovers on a budget (hands raised!), Patricia Field, the style guru behind the
costume designs of "Sex and the City" and "The Devil Wears
Prada" , has teamed up with retailer
Payless Shoe Source to launch a capsule collection of
uber stylish shoes. Field is a firm believer of the democratization of fashion; therefore, she has embarked on a mission to offer the latest styles for dirt cheap prices.
Payless and Field have been working together for about a year and half on those super
fashiony ads we've been seeing on the magazines lately and the creation of a shoe line that is expected to be released next winter. The Red Carpet Collection by Patricia Field will also include handbags and will be priced at $45.00 and under (fireworks and
confetti!!!). Plus the collection will also include the now infamous pair Patricia wore for the Oscars'. Now, that's what I call giving power to the people.
